Quinceañera Choreography in Houston

Olga Richardson choreographs quinceañera dances in Houston at Premier Dance USA, 4003 Bellaire Blvd, Suite GG. A World Professional Latin Finalist who began dancing at five, she brings the same care to a fifteenth birthday that she brings to a championship floor, so the quinceañera and her court feel confident and graceful when the music starts.

The dances

• The waltz (el vals): the elegant centerpiece, choreographed to your song
• The father-daughter dance
• The court of honor: chambelanes and damas moving together, with clean formations and entrances
• The surprise dance (baile sorpresa): the high-energy moment everyone remembers

Never danced before?

That is how most courts start. Olga breaks every step down so it feels natural, and builds the choreography around your music, your style and your comfort level, including what you can comfortably dance in a full gown.

When to start

Reach out a few months before the celebration so the court has time to practice without rushing. If your date is close, contact the studio anyway and they'll help you make a plan that fits.
